Refuse Collection days: Monday and Thursday. See the RBK&C web site for more info. Recycling is available on both days. The refuse collectors will not recycle your refuse if you put it in black bin bags, but will accept it in ordinary carrier bags, clear bags or the orange bags supplied by the council.

At present the carnival procession comes along Westbourne Grove to Ladbroke Gardens, turning right onto Ladbroke Grove. It is held each year on the Sunday and Monday of the August bank holiday (last weekend in August) see RBK&C information pages for Notting Hill Carnival.
