Refuse Collection days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays See the RBK&C web site for more info. Recycling is available on all days. The refuse collectors will not recycle your refuse if you put it in black bin bags, but will accept it in ordinary carrier bags, clear bags or the orange bags supplied by the council.

At present the carnival procession comes along Westbourne Grove and turns right onto Kensington Park Road and left into Arundel Gardens. It is held each year on the Sunday and Monday of the August bank holiday (last weekend in August) see RBK&C information pages for Notting Hill Carnival.
