Open Air Opera

The 4th September, Opera Kensington came to perform in our communal garden.

We were treated to a wonderful evening of arias, duets and ensembles by Mozart, Puccini, Strauss, Handel, Rossini, Gilbert & Sullivan and more, the performance included songs from the Mikado; Carmen; Die Fledermaus; La Bohème; Le nozze di Figaro plus many more.

The audience brought their rugs and picnics, weather was kind to us and everyone really enjoyed the performance.

Enjoy a short clip from Aleko’s Cavatina sung by Lawrence Gillians.
